I love Miss Frizzle. I do. I have loved Miss Frizzle for years and years, ever since monster #1 fell in love with The Magic School Bus videos in kindergarten. Her words ring in my ears sometimes, "Take chances! Make mistakes! Get messy!"
Today, I'm going to get messy. Possibly make mistakes, and DEFINITELY take chances. I am going to create. I have decided that I will attempt a gfcfsfcf pecan pie (ack!!) and have it perfected in time for Thanksgiving dinner.
Having found rice syrup at an AWESOME health food store in town, I am inspired to play around with it. The monsters and the daddy have no idea what I'm doing today. My hope is that it will turn out like this:
Now. I hope it looks that good, and tastes even better... but you never know how things are going to turn out here at the monster house, where twinnies run around and notorious #5 gets into things in a big, BIG way.. causing the Momma to shriek in fear and frustration about every 4.7 seconds.
